Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job
- Adjust machine settings for different materials and thicknesses
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of finished products
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments
Experience:
- Two or more years of previous experience operating press brake machines
- Experience in fabricating or machining metal parts is beneficial
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
