Production Team Leader oversees, monitors, and coordinates production team activities, giving importance to individual member's and overall team's achievement of established goals. Ensures team's goals are aligned with and representative of the overall company's directive. Being a Production Team Leader acts as liaison between team members and the rest of the organization. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Production Team Leader typically reports to a manager or supervisor. To be a Production Team Leader typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill. Required Qualifications/Professional Experiences Years of Experience/Education/Certifications:
• Minimum ten (10) years in manufacturing environment with minimum five (5) years in a supervisory/leader role in an OCC & Brown paper manufacturing environment
• Background in 100% recycle containerboard operation
• Coach and train new team members
• Lead safety improvements through personal commitment and procedures; knowledge of industrial safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills
• Analytical, critical thinking, and proven problem-solving skills
• Proven success building an engaged team
• Proficient planning, organization, and time-management skills
• Results focused and detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications/Professional Experiences/Years of Experience:
• BS in Engineering or other extended or relevant experience in OCC & Brown Machine field
• Working degree of computer literacy, including computer-based maintenance software (SAP) and Microsoft Office
