The Production Supervisor is a hands-on position reporting to the Plant Manager who is responsible for leading all production activities safely, accurately and on-time. This position leads by example maintaining a positive, team member empowered environment where beneficial changes to departmental operations, safety and process are understood and embraced. Multi-departmental communication (to HR, other Ops leaders and Sales) is necessary to address pain-points and contribute to solutions.
Position Duties and Responsibilities Included but not Limited to
Sales/Warehouse staff concerning product outs, shorts/allocations and other customer satisfaction considerations. Purchasing concerning raw material issues. HR regarding timeclock and general personnel discussions. Maintenance/Sanitation ensuring the smooth operation of production room equipment.
Skills & Qualifications
1. 2 plus years of food service production experience.
2. Previous leadership experience preferred.
3. Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
4. 2 or 4-year Degree preferred, but not required.
5. Basic understanding and ability to use MS Office Suite.
6. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and supervising instructions.
8. Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, when needed.
