Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Coordinates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Supervisor monitors daily production results and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Additionally, Production Scheduler Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Production Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, specializing in Medical Devices
This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our medical devices
The successful candidate will have a strong background in sterile processing supervision and a keen understanding of the medical equipment production floor
They will be responsible for managing staffing, supplies, and production, ensuring our clean rooms are maintained to the highest standards, and partnering with our operations management team and customer service to successfully deliver on all contracts
Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring a smooth workflow and meeting production targets.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the production environment, particularly in clean rooms, adhering to all regulations and standards.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and supply needs to ensure efficient production without compromising on quality.
Collaborate with the operations management team to strategize and implement production plans, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
Partner with customer service to ensure all contracts are successfully delivered on time and to the highest quality.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all medical devices and equipment produced, ensuring they meet all safety and functionality requirements.
Monitor and manage equipment maintenance and upgrades as needed.
Ensure adherence to all safety and compliance regulations, promoting a culture of safety and quality on the production floor.
Provide leadership, guidance, and training to production staff, fostering a team environment and promoting professional growth.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in medical device production.
Proven experience as a medical device or equipment production supervisor, lead, manager or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of clean rooms and their requirements, with experience in maintaining such environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage staffing, supplies, and production to achieve efficient workflow.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving production goals.
Strong collaboration skills, with experience in partnering with operations management teams and customer service.
Solid understanding of medical devices and equipment, with a keen eye for quality and safety.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
