Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Coordinates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Supervisor monitors daily production results and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Additionally, Production Scheduler Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Duties & Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Production Planning Team Leader, the Production Scheduler supports the production planning. The Production Scheduler ensures that maximum efficiency and minimal cost is acheived at each production unit. Additionally, in collaboration with the Operations, Inside Sales, Purchasing and Material Technology teams, the Production Scheduler will work with Operating Business Units and Materials to plan, organize, monitor, and control the flow of materials into, through and out of each machine center.
