Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Coordinates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Supervisor monitors daily production results and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Additionally, Production Scheduler Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Scheduler Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Requirements :
Minimum of 8 years' experience in production scheduling for industrial manufacturing and / or fabrication projects
Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software; MS Project knowledge beneficial
Familiarity with MRP processes to support production timelines
Ability to develop workflow strategies based on manufacturing sequences and lead times
Shipbuilding industry and Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge preferred
Responsibilities :
Manage workflow strategies for departments based on manufacturing sequences
Plan fabrication, assembly, installation, and other operations to guide workers
Collaborate with supervisors to assess project status
Prepare detailed production reports and participate in build strategy development
Provide schedule dates for MRP to ensure timely material procurement
Monitor physical progress of project activities and track workstation results
Update customer quarterly reviews, plan daily station activities with supervisors
Report progress, communicate schedule projections, and develop recovery plans as needed
Pay Details : $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
