Production Scheduler Manager manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Manager monitors production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules. Additionally, Production Scheduler Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Scheduler Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Scheduler Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Five Star Painting is hiring a Production Manager in our area. As a valued team member, you’ll schedule the project, communicate the progress of the project to customers, and finalize the project with a final walkthrough that meets customer needs.

    Responsibilities of a Production Manager


    You’ll be responsible for the following activities to succeed in this role:

    · Ensure assigned projects are kept on schedule and within budget while meeting clients’ needs and delivering a quality project.

    · Plan, schedule, and coordinate painting projects through completion.

    · Solicit painting subcontractors and keep proper ratios of painting crews to estimators.

    · Coordinating other trades such as: pressure washing, carpenters, stucco repair, etc.

    · Lead meetings and ensure proper document control and recordkeeping.

    · Ensure accuracy in estimates and job costing and facilitate weekly owner payroll reports.

    · Guide project to completion to ensure proper close-out.
