Production Scheduler Manager manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Production Scheduler Manager monitors production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules. Additionally, Production Scheduler Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Scheduler Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. POSITION SUMMARY
Manage all production crafts to maximize production and monitor and adjust manpower to maintain project schedules.

· Regular attendance at work and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
· Comply with Company, federal, state, and local safety, ethics, and environmental rules, regulations, and policies while performing duties.
· Responsible for meeting production schedules and maintaining resources and training needs within the various departments.
· Confer with the VP of Operations, General Manager, and other Craft Superintendents to coordinate work schedules and prioritize work.
· Monitor and manage all yard production operations.
· Monitor all production crafts to ensure they comply with the ESG book of standards for each department.
· Resolve any personal issues that can’t be resolved in craft.
· Monitor and manage all yard maintenance and repairs.
· Monitor assigned Departments work performances and productivity.
· Monitor and manage yard consumables.
· Work directly with Craft Superintendents to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters; consult with Human Resources as needed.
· Perform additional assignments as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly and/ or indirectly manage superintendents/ supervisors assigned to each department. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/ Experience/ Knowledge: High school diploma or GED equivalence plus ten years of previous shipyard experience with general knowledge of all production crafts and shipyard operations. Three to five years of supervisory experience is desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Requires knowledge of and ship terminology, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, and Outlook Express. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, general business periodicals, professional documents, Company policies/procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, employees, government officials, and the public. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to manage all yard production operations to maximize productivity.
