Production Painter jobs in Michigan
Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Being a Production Painter completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. Additionally, Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Production Painter possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Spray Painter to work in an indoor paint-shop environment. Candidate must have a minimum of one year spray painting experience.
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
Spray Painter (Windows and Doors) Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping and cleaning.
- Select appropriate color paints for each project.
- Spray painting vinyl windows and doors (water-based paint) using (HVLP) spray paint system.
- Ensure proper coverage and smooth application of paint.
- Clean paint equipment at the end of the shift.
- Ensure the paint booth cleaned and organized.
- Ensure clean and safe storage of all equipment.
- Follows company procedures and safety standards.
Spray Painter (Windows and Doors) Requirements:
- Previous experience in painting using spry gun.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Able to lift. Push and pull up to 50lbs.
- Standing, bending, and repetitive motion for up to 8 hours
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills required.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
