Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will contribute to the overall success of our projects. This is a paid position that services Manhattan.

Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Mix paint and other materials to achieve desired colors and textures
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Calculate the amount of materials needed for each project
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety precautions are followed during painting processes
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment

Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities
- Proven experience in construction painting, concrete finishing, or related field
- Familiarity with color theory and ability to match colors accurately
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques is preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
