Production Painter jobs in Indiana
Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Being a Production Painter completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. Additionally, Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Production Painter possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Solicit painting subcontractors and keep proper ratios of painting crews to estimators
- Coordinating other trades such as: pressure washing, carpenters, stucco repair, etc.
- Ensure accuracy in estimates and job costing and facilitate weekly owner payroll reports
- Guide project to completion to ensure proper close-out
Job Requirements- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications
- Professional appearance and personality
- Team player who can work independently
