Additionally, Production Manager ensures that staff training processes, equipment, gear, and tool requirements are fulfilled to comply with health and safety regulations. Coaches teams in best practices to provide a safe and efficient work environment and resolve escalated issues and problems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Position Summary
The Production Manager will oversee the production process and coordinate all activities to ensure enough resources are available. This role will represent the manufacturing department within Senior Staff. The ideal candidate will lead productivity and cost-reduction efforts with a philosophy of continuous improvement and hands-on involvement. Your primary goals are product quality, cost, and delivery. You will be responsible for directing and assisting manufacturing teams in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility. Drive and instill a culture that embraces quality, safety, and lean manufacturing philosophy. Drive operations to contribute to our profitability by reducing total costs and enhancing processes that will contribute to overall improvement. Maintain operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer on-time delivery and minimal past-due customer order backlog. Direct and supervise the activities of the department. 10 years of related experience and training in the aerospace industry preferred.
