Location: Leominster MA
Shift: M-F 6am-430pm
Pay Range: 80k-90k Yearly DOE
Position is a DIRECT HIRE!
This role is responsible for oversight of daily production including managing the flow of work through the facility, job scheduling, identifying and implementing efficiency enhancements, and contributing to production where needed. Working closely with the General Manager.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage production of our first shift including oversight of the team members operating press brakes, punch presses, welding cells, fiberoptic laser, and other sheet metal fabrication processes
• Coordinate with the 2nd Shift Supervisor to ensure production continuity during the transition from 1st to 2nd shift on a daily basis
• Schedule jobs and personnel on a daily basis to meet production targets and deadlines
• Actively participate in weekly senior leadership team meetings
• Work with Procurement to ensure materials and supplies are replenished according to protocol
• Able to handle fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times
• Must be able to work both independently and as a team member
• Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures, process integrity and regulations including keeping work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Install preset jobs and setup tooling, fixturing and machinery
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years hands-on experience working in a sheet metal manufacturing facility
• Experience operating and troubleshooting press brakes, punch presses, and various other sheet metal fabrication machinery
• Previous experience managing a production team
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
