Columbus Automated Production Company is currently looking for new team members to join our Maintenance Team.
Maintenance Technician primary duties will provide business and production support to all areas of manufacturing. Our maintenance team is responsible for maintaining and repair of the equipment in a timely and safe manner.
Ideal candidates must be willing to be flexible with working hours based on priority projects and department coverage needs. Current openings are for night shift positions 2:30pm to 11:00pm and 2:30pm to 1:00am. These hours are based on an 8-hour and 10-hour shift. However, overtime is required and working hours are adjusted at the beginning of the shift to support all production needs.
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Completing assigned work orders for repair and improvements.
- Perform maintenance calls for support as required.
- Troubleshooting and working with members of each department on equipment and production related items required daily.
- Mitsubishi, Keyence, Omron PLC's knowledge is a plus.
- VFD's / Servos experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of Electrical prints, Mechanical drawings and PLC ladder drawings is a plus.
- Welding and Fabrication (Mills, Surface Grinders, Lathe etc.)
- Completion of 5-S and Kaizen projects.
- Install, repair and maintain all equipment and facilities.
- Perform preventive maintenance in a deep equipment level.
- Analyze breakdowns: Spare parts needs, root cause, action to avoid re-occurrence, and preventive checklist modification.
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment.
- Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
- Test equipment along with a member of production after all repairs and /or extended downtime.
- Ensure manufacturing, Health, Safety, Environment and maintainability requirements are met.
- Participate in the management of inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime.
- Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance.
- Perform minor repairs to building fixtures.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, clean electrical fixtures, replace bulbs and paint if needed.
- Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policy.
- Adhere to all work rules and procedures.
- Actively participate in work teams.
- Perform other duties as requested.
