The CRC Operations Team is seeking to fill a Production Technician, based out of our Tupman, CA office.
The starting base wage for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $33 - $54 per hour, with a target annual bonus opportunity of 10% of wages paid. Your actual level and base salary, however, will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Well operations and surveillance, well testing, operation, monitoring and maintenance of oilfield equipment, facilities and well safety shutdown systems

• Oversight of general oilfield operations and maintenance of various databases regarding production and operations
• Understand and comply with all HES guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Trouble shoot problems on equipment and facilities, making minor equipment repairs when possible and notify supervisor when additional help is required
• Keep all work areas clean, free of weeds, trash and other debris (i.e. right of ways, sales points, electrical panels, walk paths, etc.)
• Indirectly oversee and guide the activity of contractors including, but not limited to instrument technicians, roustabouts, mechanics, electricians, designers, engineering technicians, and other contract maintenance personnel
• Use computers to operate SCADA systems, participate in CBT/WBT education, check email, utilize CMMS (Maximo), research solutions on the internet/intranet
• Respond to callouts and overtime as needed to perform the above

• Prior experience with field automation and well surveillance
• Prior experience in oilfield construction and maintenance
• 2 years of oilfield experience

Required Capabilities:

• BS in petroleum, mechanical, or chemical engineering or other relevant technical field

• Experience delivering major capital projects in upstream or midstream industries

• Project management and controls experience with multi-disciplinary teams

• Knowledge of regulatory permitting for capital projects (UIC, land use, CEQA, etc.)

• Experience developing and implementing PMO functions and process improvements

• Experience with technical writing and developing large technical documents

• Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills

• Strong project management and coordination skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal stakeholders and external groups
