Production Maintenance Supervisor supervises staff that performs maintenance service and repairs to complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Implements standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Being a Production Maintenance Supervisor coordinates resources for troubleshooting equipment repairs. Reviews and supports equipment failure analysis and troubleshooting resolutions. Additionally, Production Maintenance Supervisor trains, coaches, and educates workers in best practices and safety procedures. Monitors work orders to ensure accuracy and quality. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Production Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We are looking for a Production Supervisor with an eye for detail, and efficiency. The Production Supervisor will work cross functionally with the team in achieving company goals. The ideal candite is a self-starter with motivation to improve production processes.
Responsibilities:- Ensures inventory accuracy is properly maintained, tracked and reported between the various software platforms
- Ensures all non-cannabis inventory is entered correctly into our inventory software
- Manage production staff on meeting production goals set by management
- Leads, trains, and motivates production staff to achieve productivity and efficiency targets & complies with SOPs
- Ensures production facility is cleaned and organized
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and maintains a safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with state mandatory laws and regulations
- Ensures all product leaving the facility is up to our standard of quality along with all required manifests and documentation
- Continuously seeks ways to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Excellent verbal and written communication with outside vendors & interdepartmental staff
- Opening and closing of the manufacturing facility
Qualifications:- Prior Management experience in a manufacturing setting
- Detailed eye for quality of cannabis in various forms
- Basic Knowledge of cannabis
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
- Self-Motivation
- Eagerness to learn
- Proficient in Google Workplace
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exhibits independence and resiliency
- Ability to successfully navigate complex and changing business environments
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization (internal and external)
- Proven ability to achieve success in a start-up environment
- Age 21 or over
- Approval for a CCC Agent Card
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Long periods of prolonged standing, sitting and use of hands, long periods of prolonged use of office equipment, including computers and phones. Some crouching, stooping, balancing, or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions. Requires bending and lifting 25 pounds for distances of up to 100 feet. Ability to work in facilities and offices with fluorescent and other lighting exposure.
