As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be accountable for equipment reliability and maintenance execution within the manufacturing plant. The Maintenance Supervisor manages maintenance personnel and resources to execute scheduled work safely and effectively. This role will manage the maintenance resources assigned to the plant maintenance group with a focus on safety, equipment reliability, cost control, work execution, and personnel development. KPI metrics will be a key measure of reliability improvement, work process adherence and cost management.
Salary:
The Maintenance Supervisor position has a starting salary of $78,000 - $88,000/year and great benefits are available.
Requirements:- Leadership and supervision experience (minimum of 3 years)
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices and work processes
- Strong understanding of environmental safety and health policies and regulations
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise, including PLC and VFD experience
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment
- Six Sigma training and experience
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively
- Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry (industry-specific knowledge)
Responsibilities:- Ensure repairs in the plant are done correctly and meet regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental compliance among the maintenance team.
- Lead and develop a culture of safety excellence and support safety initiatives.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement through 5S efforts in maintenance areas.
- Develop a Reliability Centered Maintenance culture focused on proactive maintenance and reliability principles.
- Collaborate with operating units to identify areas for reliability improvement and develop action plans to enhance equipment reliability.
- Apply reliability tools (Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, etc.) to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve asset effectiveness.
- Manage maintenance costs to meet budget and forecast commitments.
- Ensure maintenance plans and schedules are effectively utilized to maintain equipment availability and reliability.
- Provide leadership and clear objectives for direct reports, including skills development and training opportunities, and assess performance and competencies.
