team. As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for responding to water
damage emergencies and providing immediate assistance to mitigate further damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to emergency calls regarding water damage incidents promptly and
efficiently
- Assessing the extent of water damage and developing appropriate mitigation plans
- Extracting water from affected areas using industry-standard equipment and
techniques
- Removing damaged materials
- Setting the proper drying equipment
- Documenting the entire mitigation process, including photographs and detailed reports
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Communicating effectively with the project manager and team members to provide
updates and address concerns
- Maintaining and organizing equipment inventory and ensuring its proper functioning
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in water mitigation or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as
