  • Role Description:
    Responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing facility.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Ensure safe operation of all equipment, trains employees as necessary, and promptly investigates and reports all safety concerns.
    Works closely with the leads, sub-leads, and producers in gathering information and tracking progress against approved milestones.
    Works with the leads and production team to develop and track against a production plan reflective of the defined project goals.
    Anticipates bottlenecks, clarifies project priorities, identifies risks, and escalates issues that cannot be internally resolved.
    Clearly defines all workflows, communicates documented processes, and ensures all practices are being refined and tuned with learnings.
    Provides regular status reports and capacity plan updates with the team and with studio management.
    Identifies the best tools and technologies to help manage workflow and optimizes their implementation and deployment.
    Identifies processes that can improve project efficiency and act as a change agent for them.
    Contributes to long- and short-form integration proposals and top line concepts.
    Manages timelines for integrated content and tracks advertiser supplied product & assets for integrations.
    Ensures internal department workflow and tracking documents up to date.
    Support the team on all integrations and proposals.
    Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
    Assist in developing and executing the local plant budget to exceed the business results.
    Supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew supervisors engaged in the production and processing of can/end production.
    Develop daily operating plans, coordinate staff to lead maintenance, and production schedules in order to meet customer requirements. Review metrics and make adjustments as necessary.
    Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities throughout the operation.
    As necessary, inspect materials, product, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Determine best problem-solving solution.
    Ensure safe operation of all equipment and ensure supervisors train associates as necessary.
    Ensure all associates adhere to production and processing standards.
    Provide guidance to direct reports in resolving employee complaints and or grievances.
    Ensure all Company procedures and policies applicable to the operation are enforced.
    Ensure all production, quality, and maintenance systems are in working order.
    Monitor and drive scrap and spoilage to a minimum.
    Lead maintenance day activities.
    Drive the annual performance review for direct reports.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Engineering or related discipline.
    5 years' experience in manufacturing operations; Can manufacturing preferred.
    2 years' experience in a supervisory capacity
    Excellent project management skills
    Mechanical knowledge preferred.
    Proven track record of successfully training and leading employees in productivity and safety
    Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
    Knowledge of raw materials, production equipment and processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
    Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, employee relations, leadership techniques, in the coordination of people and resources.
    Knowledge of machines, tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
    Knowledge of Lean tools and principles preferred.
    Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group
