Position Overview
This position is responsible for repairs, rebuilds, maintenance, tracking and documentation of the vacuum coater and custom tempering lines, plus general facilities maintenance and repair (as needed). The primary work includes preventative maintenance (PM) on processing line equipment, troubleshooting, diagnostics and emergency equipment repairs, component replacement (i.e., removal, installation, testing and validation), and other special projects to improve operations and enhance safety or production efficiency.
Work schedule is 12-hr shifts: DAYS 5:45am – 6:15pm or NIGHTS 5:45pm – 6:15am, each with a 30-minute unpaid meal period. Shifts work SEVEN 12-hour work days during each 14-day (two week) pay period as follows (work MON/TUE, off WED/THU, work FRI/SAT/SUN, off MON/TUE, work WED/THU, off FRI/SAT/SUN, repeat). All shifts require occasional scheduled overtime on off days, typically one or two additional days per month.
