Production Maintenance Manager jobs in Madison, WI

Badger State Maintenance, a small business from Milton, WI and a leader in commercial and residential landscape maintenance and construction is looking for a full-time, Grounds Maintenance Foreman to lead our crew and manage the overall grounds maintenance of a number of our commercial and residential properties.

Role and Responsibilities

• Directs crew & activities on the job site.
• Manages personnel effectively and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean and safe job site.
• Training crew members as needed
• Communicates well with all crew members, supervisor and clients.
• Knowledge of softscapes including mixing fertilizers, seeding, mowing, grounds maintenance, mulching, pruning, spring cleanups, fall cleanups, etc.
• Proficient equipment operator of trucks, trailers, skid loaders, snow removal equipment, mowers, trimmers, blowers, chain saws, bed edgers, small engines, etc.
• Good time management skills; Willingness to work long hours as needed.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Must be a Team Player.
• Manages a Snow Route for snow removal during the winter months

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform grounds maintenance activites at a HIGH LEVEL
• Willing to use our software and technology for reporting and tracking.
• 3-Years Supervisor Experience
• Great attitude that is forward thinking
• LMN Knowledge is a PLUS!
• Class 3.0 Pesticide Applicators License required – Badger State Maintenance will provide assistance with obtaining this license if necessary
• Basic knowledge of plant ID and plant care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
