As a PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE MANAGER, supporting 24/7 CONTACT LENS MANUFACTURING, you will be trusted TO OVERSEE AND COORDINATE ALL MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES WITHIN A HIGH-VOLUME MEDICAL DEVICE MANUFACTURING FACILITY at JOHNS CREEK MANUFACTURING in JOHNS CREEK, GEORGIA.
In this role, a typical day will include:Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Lead a team of maintenance leaders and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure processes are established to: Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities based on production needs, equipment criticality, and resource availability.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate with engineering and production teams to implement timely solutions.
Maintain inventory levels of spare parts and consumables to ensure uninterrupted maintenance operations.
Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 15 yrs.; Assoc. 11yrs; M.S. 4 yrs; PhD 3 yrs.)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
