GENERIC DESCRIPTION:

He is responsible to the Vice Presidency, Plant Management and Operations Manager for the optimal results in manufacturing programs, supervises production activities, ensures that the objectives of his department are achieved, is responsible for Engineering, maintenance and production activities. .

FUNCTIONS (Specific Description):

• Represents the company with the client
• Establish procedures for the best control of your department
• It adjusts to the quality specifications and the production program, previously designed to achieve higher objectives.
• Supervises the material, human and technical resources in a planned and organized manner to comply with the requirements program established for the department.
• Plan, organize and control manufacturing operations
• Ensure effective manufacturing production plans and rapid delivery of finished product to the customer
• Interact with other departments to improve the product, ensure communication between the parties involved in a problem that affects quality and productivity
• Coordinate the training of operators, group leaders, supervisors, and the entire department staff to optimize human resources
• Promote a good work environment among all staff in charge.

Responsibilities: (Specific description)

A)

• Manage production operations.
• Controls and supervises each of the positions that are required for the fulfillment of the functions of each department in charge
• Coordinates the operations of the day having the responsibility to produce at the minimum cost possible.

Formulate manufacturing programs being responsible for the production budget.

• Interact with the manufacturing team in their daily activities to obtain the production requirements
• Ensure that the manufacturing process is strictly followed to obtain a good and high-quality product.
• Ensure strict discipline, order and cleanliness in the production area
• Control of manufacturing expenses to make the plant more efficient and productive.

B)

Responsibilities (Specific Description)

• Responsible for enforcing the management systems applicable to the company (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, RBA)

Responsible for possible problems that may arise depending on the applicable management system.

Provide the necessary support in their areas for compliance with procedures and work instructions, established in the corresponding management systems.

Provide the necessary support to the corresponding committees according to the management system, especially if they have a representative from their area.

Participate in the activities of the Management Systems.

Respond to non-conformities as well as implement actions corrections in the audit reports.

Authority over the Management System:

Its authority is given to implement, monitor and follow up on the applicable management system, as well as suggest changes to them.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
