Production Worker 

The Production position primary goal of ensuring products are efficiently and correctly packed for Warehouse stock to be shipped to customers and vendors.

Primary Duty

The primary duty of this position is packing products for delivery via various ground transportation options.

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follows packing guidelines and process instructions to ensure packages are complete and ready for shipping
• Utilizes foam packing and the auto bagger machines to ensure products are packed safely and will not be damaged when shipped;
• Utilizes the Easy Label program to designate what part number and serial number is correctly packed in every box..
• Utilizes the IR Scanner to inventory product, scan products and scan Job orders to keep track of labor efficiency’s per job ;
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly position. Hours of work are M-F / 7:00am – 3:30pm

 Experience to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Previous experience packing is preferred;
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions;
• Must be able to understand verbal instructions;
• Computer experience is preferred;
• Understands and practices safe lifting techniques;
• Must be able to do repetitive work and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use various equipment such as, but not limited to, utility knife, pallet jack, tape machines and hand-held scanners.
