We are seeking an intelligent, energetic candidate for a full-time Quality Control/Production Associate in our plant located in Edwardsville, KS.
Shift hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
This is a hybrid position that works in the lab as well as the production facility. The ideal candidate for this position has outstanding analytical, leadership, people, and problem-solving skills, thinks innovatively, and constantly strives for excellence and improvement. In addition, this candidate will need to multi-task between lab duties and assisting with production in the plant.
The Quality Control/Production Associate is responsible for all quality control support of the chemical operations as well as production duties which includes but is not limited to the following:
Requirements:
- Experience/knowledge with cementitious powders.
- Strong ability to multi-task and highly self-motivated.

- Prior industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of contact management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Perform testing of raw materials, in-process, final products, stability samples, and R&D samples.
- Ensure instrument qualifications are valid.
- Maintain neat documentation in compliance with CGMPs, ISO regulations, and internal SOPs.
- Conduct self-check on all QC tickets and laboratory reports.
- File and copy lab analysis report as required.
- Ensure all chemicals are logged into the proper database.
- Ensure that the QC Lab is clean and properly maintained.
- Retain, identify, or dispose of samples properly.
- Assist in arranging and handling the disposal of waste solvents and solids generated from laboratory operations.
- Assist in documenting inventory and all related QC supplies.
- Maintain the QC sample and retain rooms.
- Maintain a record of controlled substances.
- Operate forklift, sweeper, and general clean up.
- Assist with labeling packaging and filling packages as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
