Production Control Director manages the overall strategic and tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Director establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Director collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. POSITION SUMMARY
Fabricate (sheetmetal and coppertubing parts) and assembles water source heat pumps on production lines.
We are looking for both day and night, 10 hour shift, Mon-Thu (possible Fri & Sat).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; or 6 months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 1-3 years of assembly experience is preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills preferred.
Certificates & Licenses: N/A
Other Requirements: Must be able to read and communicate in English. Knowledge of operational excellence principles, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and 5S is preferred.
