Production Control Director manages the overall strategic and tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Director establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. This position is based upon a forty (40) hour work week equating to full-time employment at G&H Keene. It is considered an hourly/non-exempt position and eligible for overtime. We have attempted to list all of the responsibilities that might be expected of such an employee in the list that follows. However, additional duties may be required.
Position hours are M-F 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. Please note that this position may require flexible hours as necessary.
Responsible for tracking inventory levels, packaging, receiving and maintain accurate records. On the shipping side, package items, weigh packages. Responsible for material receipt, unloading, comparing bills of lading against actual merchandise received, ensuring all paperwork is present, inspecting for damaged goods and, once approved, distributing merchandise.
