About the Position: We're looking for a skilled Director of Operations to join Brody Brothers and partner with our company President and Co-owners to enhance day-to-day business operations. As a Director of Operations, you will apply data-driven analysis, including Six Sigma principles to optimize current systems and procedures. This opportunity is based at our headquarters in Owings Mills.

About You: Do you possess the expertise to drive a fast growing family business to new heights of success?

We require a bachelor's degree and experience in scaling businesses, ideally in the service industry (e.g., landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, or other multi-location businesses). You should be highly organized, data-savvy, and possess strong technical, project management, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities:

• Specialize in field service management software to monitor and improve operations using Six Sigma or other similar methodologies
• Support routing, zoning, and back-end technical initiatives
• Lead territory planning and growth strategies
• Perform daily data entry and analysis for accurate records and key KPIs
• Collaborate with owners to optimize operational budgets
• Handle accounts receivable, invoice entry, cash receipts, payroll, and more
• Coordinate cost accounting and financial reporting
• Manage vendors, inventory, and compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 7 years of operations experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software systems
• Experience with QuickBooks and PestPac is a plus
• Demonstrated longevity at previous companies
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in software, data, and analytics
• Results-driven and enjoys challenges
• Thrives in both independent and collaborative work environments
