Production Control Director manages the overall strategic and tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Director establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Director collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Control Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Production Control Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Purpose:
This is an entry-level position for a new graduate Electrical Engineer. As part of the Worley Graduate Community and under supervision and mentorship within the electrical engineering department, you will assist in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver electrical engineering services and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Perform electrical engineering services such as:
- contribute to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommended actions.
- assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Technical and practical electrical engineering skills.
- Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- Developing skills in electrical engineering-specific software.
- Some skills in the use of relevant software such as MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- A recognized and relevant Electrical Engineering degree.
Preferred:
- Equivalent that will lead to registration as a Professional Engineer.
