Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. POSITION SUMMARY
Fabricate (sheetmetal and coppertubing parts) and assembles water source heat pumps on production lines.
We are looking for both day and night, 10 hour shift, Mon-Thu (possible Fri & Sat).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; or 6 months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 1-3 years of assembly experience is preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills preferred.
Certificates & Licenses: N/A
Other Requirements: Must be able to read and communicate in English. Knowledge of operational excellence principles, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and 5S is preferred.
