Production Control Clerk jobs in Des Plaines, IL

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide clerical/administrative support to production control department.
• Generate, edit and file work orders/purchase orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create, review, release, and close production work orders made from raw material and or finished stock in ERP system. Update due dates and file as needed.
• Enter various data and generate/analyze various reports as needed by production control.
• Administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.
• Run/review various reports; data entry; and other projects as assigned for production control and potentially other departments (purchasing, engineering, and maintenance.

· Manufacturing/Supply Chain Experience

PROBLEM SOLVING/Decision Making

• Trained and guided by professionals or department managers for tasks as needed.
• Assignments are primarily tasks completed on a regular basis (daily and as needed) and/or as assigned by department managers.
• Will interpret/comprehend information from various technical documents and translate into instruction on work orders in ERP system.

HOURS/DAYS: Monday -Thursday 7am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch

Or Monday – Thursday 7am to 4:30pm with 30 min. lunch

Friday 7am to 11am or 8am to 12pm

EDUCATION LEVEL:

• High School

SALARY RANGE: $21-$26 BOE

• Reading documents for general understanding – Routinely.

• Proficient at typing on a keyboard – High volume keyboard input.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
