A Mighty Lamb Production specializes in the hottest emerging artists and bands from around the world through their platform BREAKING SOUND; a premium showcase and radio platform for the hottest emerging artists and bands. They are located in the US, UK, NZ, AUS.

ROLE: This role is to be a talent booker & production lead with the A Mighty Lamb Production team in New York. The Talent Booker & Production Lead is responsible for coordinating and executing Breaking Sound events and showcases. The team strives to ensure all events are rewarding and memorable for performers, along with a great experience for audiences.

LOCATION: New York, NY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Artist Services

• Responsible for booking 2 showcases weekly in the NYC area
• All day of show communication to artists
• Assist in ticket services
• Artist booking and outreach, helping the company in its goal of creating diverse and interesting line-ups
• Attend showcases to assist with event operations and act as artist liaison
• Responsible for all pre and post-show communications with artists
• Assist team with related tasks and assignments as needed

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Essential:

• Proven interest in music, art, live events, or music festival culture
• Well versed in the NYC music scene
• Well organized, process driven and detail oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working to strict deadlines and solving problems under pressure
• Able to wear many hats and take on varied tasks and projects
• 20-30 hours per week
• efficient with Google spreadsheets
• eager, moves quickly, and takes initiative
• Must be 21 and located in New York

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
