Production Assistant assists with coordinating the production of television or web broadcasts, shows, or videos. Monitors designated schedules and timelines to ensure each phase of production stays on track. Being a Production Assistant collaborates with technical specialists and operators for each production's camera, sound, and lighting. Helps with set-up and operation of production equipment such as consoles or teleprompter, and completes any miscellaneous tasks needed for production. Additionally, Production Assistant may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Production Assistant works under moderate supervision.     General Responsibilities
    The Dragon Digital Media Production Assistant works with the Podcast Director and the Assistant Podcast Director to support the planning, developing and scheduling of social media for Dragon Digital Media (DDM) Podcasts and HCC’s Public Relations and Marketing (PRM) Department. The Dragon Digital Media Production Assistant assists with media events for Dragon Digital Media podcasting. The position helps promote podcast programming.

    WORK PERFORMED
    Create, edit, and shoot video for social media.
    Proof-read and double check all videos before posting.
    Schedule posts to Facebook and Instagram using Facebook Creator Studio
    Promote Dragon Digital Media Podcasts to grow the audience.
    Create monthly podcast newsletter.
    Must be able to work independently.

    Minimum Education Required
    High School or equivalent

    Minimum Number of Years Experience Required

    Other Knowledge Required
    GED, high school diploma, or equivalent.
    Knowledge of digital media, podcasts, radio, or related field.
    Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Audition.
    Knowledge of social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
    Sound and lighting experience.
