Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Control Assistant who possesses excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and within a team to join our Spin team in Chino, California.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of processes, data, and accounting related to item costing, inventory valuation, and COGS.
• Coordinate with engineers and production supervisors to ensure that bills of material and routings accurately represent the manufacturing process.
• Daily use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Computer/ technology skills Kronos and Infor XA PowerLink
• Resolve day to day administrative and operational issues
• Assist in daily operations and provide general office support
• Assist with operational hierarchy: Safety, Quality and Productivity
• Oversee all documents and files including production employee records
• Schedule and coordinate staffing efforts and plant recruiting through onboarding processes
• Other duties as assigned by the plant manager
• Manage records affecting inventory planning, inventory control, and production.
• Coordinate inventory and cycle counts.
• Determine root causes of inventory and other data errors, to ensure steady and permanent improvement in data accuracy.
• Conduct data analyses to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
• BOM check against inventory
• Daily production revenue reports and distribution
• Receive PO's in system.
• Enter and review tags for semi-annual inventory.
• Adjust inventory as needed, cycle counts included.
• Stock room replenishment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Two years office experience- manufacturing experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail (required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required).
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills (required).
• Mathematical and analytical skills (required).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required Infor XA PowerLink experience is a plus
• Excellent attendance & punctuality
• Ability to multitask
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheet (required).
