Production Artist - Web produces basic graphic sketches, designs, and copy layouts for online content. Processes images and graphics and creates background. Being a Production Artist - Web also produces HTML pages. Utilizes web technologies HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative suite, Photoshop. Additionally, Production Artist - Web may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Production Artist - Web occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. This position is responsible for effectively and efficiently lead a shift of team members. Represent the customer and management in actions and interactions with employees. Serve as “the point person” in serving the needs of our employees. Lead a team cut, kit and assemble material to meet customer specifications

Keep the factory in “customer visit ready mode; make facilities decisions in coordination with other supervisors in regards to constantly improving our standards; and use visual information to support a participative and self-directed leadership style.

Manage and resolve conflicts; a willingness to quickly confront counterproductive behaviors; prepare and conduct performance evaluations; lead manufacturing hiring efforts while minimizing voluntary turnover and approving time off and overtime;

Knowledge, Skills & Education
High school diploma or GED required, some college course work preferred; 3 - 5 years production supervisory experience; minimum 5 years factory related experience, preferably in a regulated industry (i.e. automotive, aerospace, medical device); Capable of understanding technical drawings; Supervisory/Leadership skills; background in lean manufacturing a plus; must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken; ability to manage and allocate resources along with the ability to motivate others.
