Job Overview:
The B2B Sales Admin will play a crucial role in both sales and operational admin support. Focusing on sales, you'll be supporting customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, cultivating sales opportunities to drive revenue. Additionally, this position entails providing sales admin support by researching and developing business referrals, managing web leads, and coordinating a variety of day to day activities.
Your responsibilities include contacting leads, prospects, and accounts, ensuring their swift movement through the sales cycle. Acting as the primary contact for buyers and decision-makers, you'll serve as the company ambassador to build trust and secure sales, delivering value through exceptional customer service. This role also involves operational admin support, including entering orders and providing post-purchase assistance.
This dynamic, fast-paced role in a high-growth potential channel requires the B2B Sales Admin to be motivated, customer-focused, detail-oriented, quick to learn, energetic, well-spoken, and eager to support and contribute to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with lead generation, qualification and outreach: Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies. Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce CRM) of prospective client information. Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process.
- Assist with client relationship building: Building business relationships with current and potential clients.
- Coordinate client proposals creation and delivery: Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
- Data Management: Organizing all sales administration and activities using CRM software.
- Sales Strategy Support: Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
- Sales Operations Coordination: Providing operational admin support, including entering orders and offering post-purchase assistance.
Key Objectives and Results:
- Operational Support Excellence: Streamline and enhance operational processes to support B2B marketing efforts, follow up with leads, and assist in creating marketing materials.
- Sales Portals Development and Optimization: Actively participate in the development of sales portals, providing valuable feedback on operational needs to improve the overall process.
- Order Entry and Post-Purchase Service Excellence: Efficiently support inside and outside sales reps by entering orders and addressing post-purchase needs for a seamless customer experience.
- Showroom Organization and Trade Show Management: Provide support in organizing local and national showrooms, overseeing all project management aspects of attending trade shows.
- Revenue Growth through Lead Generation: Contribute to revenue growth by successfully hitting targets for cold lead generation, outreach, and lead nurturing for incoming leads.
