McGinley Orthopedics was established in April of 2012 with the goal of increasing patient safety and physician confidence through technological advances in the orthopedic field. The IntelliSense Drill Technology®, McGinley Orthopedics’ flagship product, has sensor technology that provides real time measurement and stops automatically as it exits the backside of the bone. In addition to numerous accessories for the IntelliSense® Drill, the company launched the Lever Action Plate System® for distal radius fractures. The patented beam technology allows the surgeon to achieve reduction of intra-articular fractures. Additionally, McGinley Augmented Reality for Ultrasound will be featured. McGinley AR allows the user to visualize images and the treatment site simultaneously.

Main Objective:

• Dual role as sales team product specialist and external customer relations management.
• Recruit, coordinate and manage relationships with external surgical teams to function as McGinley Orthopedics technology champions.
• Act as technical support for medical products for surgeons and operating room teams.
• Ensure maximized revenue growth of company products through direct selling.
• Establish proper and effective communications with appropriate staff across the company to facilitate sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Works within an assigned customers to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives:

• Carries out specific plans developed by the company to ensure revenue growth in company’s products.
• Travel for on-site training, product demonstrations, cadaver labs, trade shows (approximately 2 weeks per month or more based on need)
• Handles sales of new, existing products and multi-product sales.
• Educates surgeons and OR teams on product usage.
• Provides technical support to surgical teams.
• Manages assigned account activities.
• Communicates regular field activity to senior management
• Completes self-education requirements.
• Uses competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.
• Performs sales activities on accounts and negotiates product pricing discounts pre-approved by senior management

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required or equivalent Operating Room work experience.

Knowledge And Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses And/or Training

• State of Wyoming RN License
• Effective management skills with ability to manage customer relationships.
• Effective time management, communications, decision making, presentation, and organization skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation required
