Product Development Manager manages the staff, resources, and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Incorporates research and concept development projects and capabilities with market analysis, industry intelligence, and customer monitoring to support product roadmaps and innovate new products, enhancements, and redesigns. Being a Product Development Manager coordinates with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products meet development targets and support the organization's financial goals. Develops teams with the knowledge and expertise to fulfill product development objectives. Additionally, Product Development Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Product Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Become a part of our product development (PD) team and work under the direction of senior scientists to carry out adhesive PD activities, researching prior arts, generating innovative ideas, and turning the ideas into cost-effective products 
    •  Support and complete product development projects to grow our adhesives business 
    •  Expand your skills in chemistry, polymer material characterization, experimental design, data analysis, result interpretation and reporting 
    •  Apply your knowledge in chemistry, polymers, and material science to adhesive product design and formulation for electronics component and device assembly applications 
    •  Collaborate with global colleagues in cross-functional teams to support global customers and commercialize products.
