MAJOR
OBJECTIVE: Provides proper direction to Case Managers to assure organizational goals and objectives are clear. Coordinates all WIOA-167 available services with Case Managers to assure clients are assisted properly. Maintain appropriate staff records. Assure all field staff are in compliance with all ORO policies and procedures i.e. time & attendance, evaluations, vacation and other time off that may be requested by staff.
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provides proper direction to all Case Manager’s to
assure organizational goals and objectives are clear.
a. Disseminates information to area Case Managers on program NFJP services to be provided in their perspective areas.
b. Provide up to date information on NFJP goals.
c. Assure that all staff has clear understanding of the organizational objectives to be accomplished.
2. Coordinates all WIOA-167 available services with Case
Managers to assure maximum services are being delivered to clients.
a. Provide the latest available program information on client NFJP services.
b. Provide proper information and direction on program guidelines for maximum client service delivery.
c. Assist Case Managers to coordinate with each other, in referring clients from area to area for employment & training opportunities.
d. Inform each Case Manager to utilize other community resources prior to issuing WIOA-167/HEP services.
e. Facilitate case reviews with Case Managers in order to best service the clients.
3. Maintain appropriate staff records and provide reports as required.
a. Coordinate with Case Managers to assure staff personnel files are up to date and consistent with ORO’ written policy.
b. Formulate written reports on current status of the field accomplishments for assessment and evaluation purposes.
c. Provide current field status reports to ORO, Executive Director.
4. Assure all field staff is in compliance with ORO’s personnel policies and procedures.
a. Assure Case Managers are keeping proper time and attendance records on staff.
b. Keep proper time and attendance records on Case Managers.
c. Assure Case Managers submit annual evaluations on their staff in a timely manner.
d. Conduct annual evaluations on Case Managers.
e. Responsible for Case managers, vacation requests and other time off requests.
DESIRED
QUALIFIACTIONS: PR/ Communications skills to be utilized assisting Case Managers with State-wide Workforce Offices and their Directors. A Bachelor’s degree or other post-secondary educational achievement including a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours in approved counseling related courses. Post Secondary Education may be waived as follows one year of education for two years of related experience. Two years experience in community-based organizations is preferred. Must have basic personal computer skills, Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) ability may also be required. Must have effective oral/written communication skills, and the ability to work with individuals at various socio-economic levels.
COOPTION
CLAUSE: It is understood that the person in this position as a salaried employee of ORO and may from time to time have his/her duties co-opted to assist with other duties to meet the overall goals and objectives of organization.
