Product Development Director plans and directs the resources and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Establishes research and concept development projects and capabilities to innovate new products, product enhancements, and product redesign. Being a Product Development Director conducts market analysis and interacts with customers and prospects to identify new markets, articulate the value proposition, define requirements, and lead the development of a product roadmap. Oversees new product development and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products support the organization's financial goals. Additionally, Product Development Director develops teams with the knowledge and expertise to fulfill product development objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Product Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Product Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Digital Experience & Platforms team (DEP), within Global Commercial Services, is focused on designing and delivering a seamless digital experience that drives customer engagement as well as business growth. The Client Access and Profile Management team within the DEP team designs and delivers digital tools for middle market, large and global scale companies to effectively lead their Corporate Card programs.

    The Director of Digital Product Management will be responsible for defining and delivering a next generation, unified & innovative experience for our Corporate Card clients within our suite of digital servicing tools. This includes leading a ground-breaking agenda to build seamless and globally consistent access management experiences for our clients, launching and embedding frameworks to support this goal and driving a large multi-year client adoption agenda. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience launching digital features in an agile environment. The Director will be an independent inspiring leader, with a strategic attitude, excellent communication and organizational skills, and will have a consistent record of operating within a matrixed corporate environment and leading a successful and impactful team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Effectively lead, inspire, and develop a strong performing team of product managers and analysts
    • Deliver on our highly visible three-year transformation roadmap of the global digital tools and experiences
    • End-to-end ownership of product development from strategy to roadmap implementation including client onboarding and change management
    • Communicate with senior leadership to receive strategic alignment
    • Set product level goals and effectively collaborate across the organization to bring new experiences to market
    • Partner with cross functional teams to leverage Blue Box capabilities and accelerate delivery


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Dynamic people leader with a passion for team development
    • Results-driven attitude with the ability to work in fast-paced environment, navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities in a matrixed Corporate environment
    • Proven experience in delivering global digital products
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, knowledge of internal processes and software platforms a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and deliver new platform capabilities, participate in defining specifications, lead conceptual business architecture, collaborate within and across teams on design and delivery, lead project and be able to interpret results.
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 7 years of professional experience in product management or strategy

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s degree
    • Financial services experience

    Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
