The Future of Work team is seeking an experienced Product Manager to identify, foster and execute opportunities to bring Circular Economy principles to our PC products, a high priority focus area for HP. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrable experience building and deploying compelling and differentiated customer solutions, possess a blend of tactical and strategic abilities, and excel as an effective communicator. They will be comfortable working with and influencing large, cross-function teams that defy the status quo.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and articulate a clear solution vision aligned with the company's overall strategic goals, staying up to date with industry trends and customer needs to continuously enhance the product roadmap.
Utilize strong business acumen to connect initiatives to business objectives and develop well-defined business models
Work across Hardware and Services Product Management, Design, Engineering, Strategy and other teams to identify and define Circular opportunities and influence product strategy
Determines requirements, resources and investment required to execute
Builds business cases and business models with clear understanding of competitive landscape and future trends.
Influences cross-organization and with key stakeholders to gain support for investment and execution plans.
Determines needs across the value chain in conjunction with the services organization, including GTM and services delivery requirements.
Builds execution plan working with R&D, Customer support, and product teams
Acts in close partnership with customers, channel partners, and analysts to help define strategy.
Oversees significant research and analysis efforts as well as regularly evaluating secondary research for market and competitive insights
Drives business transformation plans and ROI metrics. Analyzes data to gain insights into user behavior and product usage, using this information to guide future improvements.
Act as the voice of the customer within the company, communicating customer feedback, needs, and pains throughout the organization.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
Proven experience (7-10 years) to demonstrate mastery of Product Management skills
MBA, Master's Degree preferred
Demonstratable experience creating innovative, differentiated hardware products or experiences; Services experience a plus
First-hand knowledge of hardware product planning and development cycles
Experience driven design, use case development, and customer journey mapping experience
Customer centric mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with diverse teams and articulate ideas at the executive level.
Highly developed negotiation & influencing skills
Strong knowledge of IT hardware and services industry
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, develop relationships across organizations and accomplish goals under pressure situations. Strong skills in exercising independent judgment.
Solid understanding of business planning methods and business acumen.
Flexibility, adaptability, comfortable dealing with changing priorities or direction
Highly developed project/ program management and change management skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is 123,950.00 - 179,760.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
