Our company is seeking to add a Project Manager/Estimator to our team. The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for assessing customer needs, creating project estimates, creating detailed production drawings, planning and placing material orders, scheduling projects, and performing quality inspections.
Responsibilities
· Manage all activities necessary to successfully complete fine metal fabrication projects.
· Create estimates that meet profitability goals and align with customer specifications.
· Develop detailed design drawings and specifications.
· Purchase required materials and components for projects under your management.
· Communicate and cultivate relationships with staff, vendors, and customers.
· Respond to and resolve problems as they arise.
Required Qualifications
· 2D design proficiency including AUTOCAD.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
· Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
· Project management experience.
· Knowledge of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum sizes, shapes, and applications.
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
· Willingness to learn and develop as an individual and with the company.
· Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.
· US citizenship or authorized to work in the US.
· Negative pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
· Engineering and design experience.
· SolidWorks 3-D modeling experience.
· Metal fabrication experience.
· QuickBooks experience.
