    Job Summary

    Our Whitefish, MT Location is seeking a Product Specialist Trainee to service high-end custom home projects, the Product Specialist Trainee works with designers, builders, and homeowners to manage them through the selection process and then manage the finish schedule selections through to Purchase. The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn the product and educate customers with a consultative approach.

    Job Functions

    • Provide product knowledge to customers through the features, values, and benefits of each product
    • Assist homeowner and/or trade with design needs based on the individual project products and required application
    • Understanding/Reading Architectural Plans
    • Creating finish schedules and meeting bid deadlines;
    • Tracking and maintaining estimates in the sales pipeline
    • Using Computer Programs including Microsoft Office Based Applications.
    • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current trends, markets, and product lines

    Qualifications

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Design preferred
    • Experience in the Construction or Design Industry in a plus. Experience in Kitchen Design/Products also a plus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
