Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. manages, develops, and implements marketing activities to maximize sales of an assigned brand. Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops marketing strategies for a brand. Being a Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. reviews marketing metrics to determine the effectiveness and value of marketing strategies or campaigns. Leads the development, curation, and deployment of marketing content and identifies appropriate sales channels. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. translates marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans. Works with management and team leaders to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies or improve direction for current campaigns. Ensures product and brand initiatives are consistent and support the organization's public image. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.   • SCOPE OF ROLE

    The Sr Manager, Product Management is responsible for defining and executing the connected product strategy within Regal Rexnord's Perceptiv Digital Solutions group. This role will work directly with customers and Regal Rexnord core product divisions to deliver connected solutions that will translate to traceable revenue growth. Responsible for the connected ecosystem product strategy, the right candidate will have knowledge of industrial markets, IoT technology, and new product development. The role will size & segment markets, research, identify, and model customer, competitor, and industry trends that will shape our connected solutions, and collaborate with core product divisions to create intelligent Powertrain solutions. This position is located at Regal Rexnord's downtown Milwaukee, WI site.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Understand and represent user needs and support the definition of Perceptiv connected solutions vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.

    • Operate as a key promoter of Perceptiv solutions across Regal Rexnord, engaging with product management colleagues to build and expand intelligent powertrain roadmaps.

    • Identify and define new applications within defined markets to differentiate Regal Rexnord's Perceptiv offerings from our competition.

    • Develop pricing strategies and grow market share by working with sales directors and strategic marketing to develop sales strategies.

    • Manage the lifecycle from product ideation through introduction and maturation, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

    • Assesses market needs by directly calling on stakeholders to understand Voice of Customer and specify research required to obtain additional market information.

    • Assesses market competition by comparing Regal Rexnord's Perceptiv solutions to those offered by competitors.

    • Prepare and coach sales teams on product application information, product initiatives, and profitability equations.

    • Align stakeholders around the vision for Perceptiv products and services and prioritize roadmaps based on customer need.

    • Capture, analyze, and report on key performance indicators, identifying mitigation strategies or pivot plans where needed.

    • Provide source material for product line communications and define product marketing objectives.

    • Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.

    • Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, feature development, and user acceptance testing.

    • Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing, and production.

    • Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5 years' experience in a product management role; preferably in the industrial and/or IoT space

    • Track record of developing strategic product roadmaps and managing from ideation through maturation

    • Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred

    • Experience developing market, customer requirements, and product requirement documents

    • Proven success executing NPD roadmaps and working with Project Management & Engineering teams to manage NPD process, portfolio management & value proposition creation

    • Experience and/or knowledge of the Industrial Automation market landscape and working in a global matrixed environment

    • Usability and customer-focused design experience preferred
