A leader in the design, system integration, and turn-key project management of food processing and packaging equipment installation. Holds a reputation for customer success and strong relationships with industry experts, fabricators, controls experts, installers, equipment riggers and many global food equipment OEMs.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of client projects through all phases including: the planning, preliminary design, scope development, quoting and estimating, scheduling, subcontractor communication and coordination, progress monitoring and reporting, and budget tracking from project kick-off through final acceptance testing.
Develop client relationships to promote continuing and future project work opportunities. Serve as an advisor, team leader and resource to project staff to resolve technical or operational problems.
Responsible for overall project deliverables (safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, communication, information management, customer acceptance). Ensure projects are executed in compliance with company standards and customer workflow and design standards. Ensure project quality control plan is followed, punch list is completed, project change orders are submitted and prepared, complete and submit O&M manuals to clients by FAT.
Lead the schedule, design, and cost estimate review process for assigned projects. Manage the development of execution plans and installation through startup. Assist in the competitive bidding process for the procurement of equipment and construction, including conducting pre-bid and post-bid meetings. Manage project engineers and construction contractors during various phases of project executions.
Qualifications:
BSE or equivalent combination of food engineering experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
10 years related experience with at least 5 years in project management required.
The ability to perform as a technical lead in mechanical, process, electrical, or packaging engineering discipline.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, or equivalent project management software.
PMP Certification required within 2 years of being hired.
Project travel is required. (30-50% scattered)
