JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Manager of Hospital Facilities Management

MGR - HOSP FAC MGMT

Full-Time

Manager candidates of the Hospital Facilities Management program will have the following job responsibilities:

• Responsible for the planning, organizing, managing and controlling of the engineering program for all hospital facilities.
• Responsible for the areas of building infrastructure systems, grounds, plant equipment operations, quality assurance, plant preventive maintenance, electrical safety, maintenance and repair requests, and repair parts purchases.
• You will plan, organize, manage and control operations of the Engineering Department.
• You will be responsible for the facility preventive maintenance program.
• You will responsible for the facilities electrical safety program.
• You will establish and update engineering policies and procedures.

Manager candidates of the Hospital Facilities Management program must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Education:

• AS Degree in a Technical Field (BS degree in management, business or an engineering field preferred but not required).
• Required: Candidates with an Associate of Science will have a Texas State Journeyman's Electrical or Plumbing License

License:

• Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager, preferred

Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience in engineering management or healthcare department management preferred
• Must have experience working in engineering or facilities departments within a healthcare setting

Additional Information: FTEs: 8

Salary: $50k (min) - $60k (mid) - $65k (max)Relocation: Eligible case by case
