Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. manages, develops, and implements marketing activities to maximize sales of an assigned brand. Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops marketing strategies for a brand. Being a Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. reviews marketing metrics to determine the effectiveness and value of marketing strategies or campaigns. Leads the development, curation, and deployment of marketing content and identifies appropriate sales channels. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. translates marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans. Works with management and team leaders to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies or improve direction for current campaigns. Ensures product and brand initiatives are consistent and support the organization's public image. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:


    The Project Manager is responsible for working with stakeholders and strategic partners (relative to an approved corporate initiative) to develop the project plan, scope, resource, manage timelines, document, and deliver the project on time and within budget.


    This position qualifies for a hybrid work structure where you will work both on-site and off-site with most of the time on-site on an annual basis. Working from the office will be required 3 days per week.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with Thornburg leadership to define, prioritize and develop projects based on Thornburg strategic priorities.
    • Manage project schedules and task details and utilize project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling software appropriately.
    • Gather stakeholder requirements, create and manage project plans, and track and monitor timelines to meet project deadlines.
    • Work closely with the Director, PMO to co-manage projects as needed
    • Ensure that all team members in a project understand their roles and accept their responsibilities.
    • Regularly track progress on all project plans in the portfolio and provide transparency to key stakeholders
    • Manage project scope and deliverables through a structured change management process to ensure stakeholder expectations are met.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in Project Management
    • Thorough understanding of standard project processes.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with project team members and leadership.
    • Able to work collaboratively across the Thornburg organization.
    • Inspires trust and is stakeholder centric.
    • Highly capable and resourceful problem solver with ability to understand strategic initiatives and manage projects in a way that supports those initiatives.
    • Technical background that supports an understanding of the dependencies and processes required relative to IT-intensive projects.
    • Experience working in the asset management/investment management industry and comfortable with key business processes and industry language.
    • PMP Certification or ability to attain certification within 2 years.
    • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
