Being a Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. reviews marketing metrics to determine the effectiveness and value of marketing strategies or campaigns. Leads the development, curation, and deployment of marketing content and identifies appropriate sales channels. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Manager, Sr. translates marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans. Works with management and team leaders to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies or improve direction for current campaigns. Ensures product and brand initiatives are consistent and support the organization's public image. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director.     Essential Functions Statements

    • Responsible for asset management of the only privately-held KC-135R fleet in the world. Guides and supports the teams responsible for KC-135R heavy maintenance planning; aircraft records and documentation; aircraft publications; aircraft predictive maintenance planning; line maintenance inspection and audit; and mechanic certification and records.
    • Coordinates with ASG AMG Head of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Head of Engine Management (EM) to ensure component and consumable inventories required for heavy maintenance activities are available as scheduled and off-wing engine maintenance activities are synchronized with other heavy maintenance cycles.
    • Coordinates with Metrea Strategic Mobility KC-135R business unit to interface the AMG Asset Management team and the MSM Technical teams with the line maintenance, supply chain and audit, aircraft records audit, and mechanic certification audit.

    Competency Statements

    • 10 years prior experience in a commercial heavy-aircraft aviation maintenance environment is required.
    • 5 years prior experience leading a heavy-aircraft MRO operation under FAA part 145 is required.
    • A&P license is highly desired.
    • Prior experience with USAF KC-135R maintenance and planning cycles, to include working with technical data from the USAF KC-135R technical order (TO) system is highly desired.
    • Prior experience working on a US government aviation services contract is highly desired, with prior experience working directly with NAVAIR or USAF contracts on a contract is preferred.
    • Prior experience establishing and sustaining a predictive maintenance planning and project execution programs.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and time management skills are required. 

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This role supervises two team sections: KC-135 Technical Services and KC-135 Regulatory Compliance and their project activities.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Physical Demands

    This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.

     

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.

    Facility Location:

    Temecula, CA. Consideration may be given to candidates outside the local area defined as Riverside, Orange, and San Diego counties, CA, but candidates should expect to spend considerable time at the site in Temecula CA even if residing elsewhere.

     

    Travel

    Travel requirements are up to 50%.

     

    Required Education, Experience and Certificates

    Education: Bachelor’s degree required (preferred to be in a technical field).

    Experience: At least 10 years prior experience in a commercial heavy-aircraft aviation maintenance environment is required to include at least 5 years prior experience leading a heavy-aircraft MRO operation under FAA part 145.

    Certificates and Licenses:

    • Prior A&P license is required.
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • COVID-19 Vaccination Card

    Computer Skills: Aircraft maintenance documentation systems of record (i.e. FlightDocs, Corridor, etc.); Microsoft Office Suite

    Preferred Education, Experience and Certificates

    Education: Masters of Business Administration (MBA); and or Project Management Degree; and or Engineering Degree

    Certificates and Licenses: FAA A&P license. Computer Skills: Microsoft Project management tools.

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    Must be able to accomplish all duties with little or no assistance. Must have good command of the English language; oral and written.

    Work Authorization/Security Clearance

    Employee must be a US citizen.

    Employee must be able to have and maintain a SECRET US security clearance.
