The Manager of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety will work with a medical center that provides comprehensive healthcare services that effectively meet the needs of the surrounding community through compassionate and responsible care for over 50 years. The Manager of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety will be responsible for oversight of Regulatory Compliance, Infection Control, Risk Management, Case Management and Quality programs at the hospital. The RN Manager of Quality and Risk Management will support operations in a manner that is consistent with overall hospital strategies, policies and procedures. 

The Manager of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety will coordinate the process to identify, resolve, and track complaints. The Quality Nurse Manager will provide initial screening and tracking of unusual occurrences including Sentinel Events. The Quality and Risk RN Manager will be the designated Patient Safety Officer. 

The Manager of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety will report to the Administrative Director of Quality & Risk Management and Accreditation for issues impacting operations and to enterprise Quality Services for compliance with the service standards and practices. The Risk and Quality Management Nurse Manager will be responsible for the most effective use of materials, personnel, and resources to produce positive outcomes in patient care.
