Product/Brand Management Director manages, develops, and oversees the implementation of marketing activities to maximize sales of a brand. Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops marketing strategies for a brand. Being a Product/Brand Management Director reviews marketing metrics to determine the effectiveness and value of marketing strategies or campaigns. Leads the development, curation, and deployment of marketing content and identifies effective sales channels. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Director translates marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans. Works with management and team leaders to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies or improve direction for current campaigns. Ensures product and brand initiatives are consistent and support the organization's public image. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product/Brand Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Product/Brand Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Slabtown Square is a new and exciting community with 200 units.


    The Event Director will play an experiential hospitality role like no other. Equal parts magic maker, community connector, and host extraordinaire, you are the social architect, creating remarkable experiences for residents and the greater community. This position will establish partnerships and connections key to programming and curate unique talent for the community. 

    The primary purpose of this position is to take the lead in planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events. The Event Director will set programming, manage schedules, and budgets, and handle behind-the-scenes details from contracts through insurance, and finally ensuring everything is executed as planned while maintaining compliance with applicable government programs for the property, adhering to Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws at all times. 

    For this position, we are seeking a dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional and communicative. 

    Compensation: $80,000/yr benefits!

    Schedule: 40 hours / week, days and hours may vary. Tuesday-Saturday 10:00AM - 7:00PM or Wednesday-Sunday 9:00AM - 6:00PM. 

    Qualification Requirements:

    High school diploma or GED.
    • One (1) year of experience in event planning, required. 
    • Leadership experience in event production and coordination; hospitality a plus.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills; extremely personable and welcoming personality.
    • Highly tuned empathy and emotional intelligence.
    • A powerful drive to create remarkable experiences for people. 
    • Highly motivated self-starter and proficient project manager. 
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong logistical multi-tasking and coordination capabilities
    • Possess strong technology, internet and general computer use skills and willingness to learn new programs as needed.
    • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Flexible availability to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
    • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
    • Ability to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required.

    Essential Functions:

    • Always represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner.
    • Support Community Managers efforts to ensure that the company’s efforts fully meet and exceed property management obligations.
    • Work in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws (Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Laws, OSHA, etc.).
    • Be the face of the brand, epitomizing our reputation for hospitable service and creating a social center of gravity at the heart of the neighborhood
    • Guide prospective partners and residents through site tours with expert knowledge that speaks to their event needs
    • Seamlessly coordinate campus programming across various outlets; establish event roster
    • Drive social connection through the facilitation of resident-only events
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with lobby, retail, plaza, and sky kitchen partners
    • Maintain a diverse rolodex of local, known, and lesser-known Portland partners, activities, vendors, and collaboration opportunities
    • Manage event production contracts, budgets, insurance, and timelines
    • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to streamline event publicity via resident and public communications
    • Follow confidentiality guidelines for all resident, property, owner, and Guardian information at all times.
    • Accurately record time worked, adhere to time keeping guidelines daily. 
    • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships between departments and with coworkers. 
    • Constantly strive for improvements in work process and results to better meet resident needs, ownership goals and objectives, and company standards and expectations.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Portfolio Manager.
